[00:00:00] Hey everyone, welcome back to the Data Career Podcast. I'm your host Avery Smith and in today's episode we have Aisa Howard back on. I don't know if you guys remember him from episode 42.
[00:00:10] We talked about how cold messaging helped him land his first data job. And now Aisa and I have actually teamed up and created a short little mini course called Job Hunt Shortcut.
[00:00:20] It's basically a short, it probably takes about two to three hour course about job hunting and by the end you're going to think about the job hunt much differently.
[00:00:28] It's all about the 80-20 role of the job hunt which basically says that 80% of your interviews are going to come from 20% of your effort or your work.
[00:00:36] The 20% of the effort in work is basically networking. And now you might be thinking I don't know anyone how that can be my supposed to network. That's okay. That's where we all start.
[00:00:44] And in this program we talk about how you can find people to network with what you should send to them in DMs, how you can keep track of all of that. We have a bunch of tools, a bunch of resources to help you get started.
[00:00:54] So we're going to talk about the 80-20 method and then talk about job hunt shortcut a little bit. Right now we're doing a 29% off that actually ends Thursday night.
[00:01:03] So a lot of you guys probably only have 48 hours to get that discount. It's 29% off and we're actually going to give an added bonus, a live Q&A next Monday.
[00:01:11] But maybe I can talk to Asa and have it extended for you guys listening in the podcast but I don't know yet.
[00:01:16] So if you guys are interested go check it out jobhuntshortcut.com. It's basically a mini course about how to land any job, not just a data job, but it includes data jobs using the 80-20 method.
[00:01:28] I hope you guys enjoyed this episode. It was super fun to have Asa back on. If you guys didn't listen to episode 42, scroll through the archive and go check it out because it's a pretty interesting episode I think.
[00:01:37] So take care everyone and talk soon.
[00:01:39] Welcome to the Data Career Podcast, the podcast that helps aspiring data professionals land their next data job.
[00:01:46] Here's your host, Avery Smith.
[00:01:49] So we're going to be talking about how you can basically land more interviews without sending resumes out there into the void because it's really frustrating when you're trying to land a job.
[00:02:01] It is like the most frustrating thing on planet earth when you're trying to land a job and you just can't figure it out right? Like you're not landing interviews, you're just getting ghosted, you're getting rejection after rejection.
[00:02:13] If you have felt this before, give me a thumbs up in the chat. If you guys are like, yes, I've been applying for jobs and it sucks.
[00:02:20] I just can't figure out what the heck's going wrong. I see Dean. I see Simran. Yeah, so you guys are not alone.
[00:02:26] So just quickly today we're going to just rush through a presentation we actually did last week about how you guys can land more interviews without sending resumes just like getting them sucked into the black hole.
[00:02:38] Before we get started, I want to tell you guys that if you are not following ASA make sure you go follow ASA.
[00:02:44] If you're listening live, just click on his profile picture that will pop up his LinkedIn.
[00:02:48] If you're listening to the recording, we'll have his linked in link in the description down below.
[00:02:54] But ASA is a great resource and has a really cool story on how he landed a job because you used to be in the situation where you were applying for like a bajillion jobs, ASA, right?
[00:03:05] That's totally. It was crazy. I spent months and months and months just applying to jobs and feeling like I was a failure, you know?
[00:03:14] And I'm sure some of you kind of feel that way. I felt like I had some skills but I was invisible and I wasn't getting reached out too.
[00:03:22] I wasn't even getting told that I was being rejected for jobs. That's how bad it was.
[00:03:27] I definitely knew that I had to make a change and I had to figure out a better strategy so that I wasn't stuck in that black hole.
[00:03:34] Basically what ASA was saying was yeah, like he was in the situation where there was not a whole lot of prospects.
[00:03:40] He kept applying, he kept applying, he kept applying and nothing was really happening just rejection and ghosting.
[00:03:48] So ASA what made the difference for you?
[00:03:50] Honestly, I think it was being exhausted of being in that cycle.
[00:03:54] I was frustrated and felt hopeless and the time was ticking because I was about to graduate college and I was ready to get a job.
[00:04:01] And I needed to make some money. I was about to go try to buy a house and get married and so it was definitely a time where I needed to land a job.
[00:04:09] This pushed me to find a new strategy, to try to go against what I had been going and realize that that application method just simply doesn't work.
[00:04:20] It didn't work two years ago, it doesn't work today.
[00:04:23] And really what changed was taking a human first approach.
[00:04:28] That's what I like to call it. Just a human first approach where you're actually talking to people and having conversations because that's where gets you in the door.
[00:04:34] Yes, and that's what we're going to talk about in this quick session is how you can take this human approach.
[00:04:39] I really call it the 80-20 rule of the job hunt.
[00:04:43] The 80-20 rule of landing interviews is how you can actually get more interviews by doing less applications.
[00:04:49] And really what it means is you're working smarter, not harder.
[00:04:53] Instead of just going to these job boards and randomly applying to hundreds of jobs, we do kind of what Aisa said and we network.
[00:05:02] We basically have, we target the job targets we actually want.
[00:05:06] Like we get laser focused on what we actually want out of a job.
[00:05:09] Not just applying to hundreds of jobs, we get laser focused.
[00:05:12] And then we actually send cold messages.
[00:05:15] We reach out to hiring managers, recruiters, your peers and we send them very good cold messages that aren't annoying, that aren't pushy.
[00:05:23] And it helps us get an insider, a friend on the inside that's able to help us launch our career.
[00:05:29] So instead of cold applying, we're actually warm applying.
[00:05:32] Aisa, when you were like, okay I'm going to take a more human approach.
[00:05:36] You actually like targeted what two companies or something like that instead of just hundreds?
[00:05:41] Yeah, that's exactly right. So instead of going with 100 different jobs and everything sounds good.
[00:05:47] I really focused on what kind of job would I actually be helping on?
[00:05:51] Would it be a data analyst job?
[00:05:55] And if it was data analyst, well what industry is that?
[00:05:58] And what kind of work do I want to do?
[00:06:00] Do I want to be customer facing? What kind of pay do I want to be remote or hybrid in person?
[00:06:05] And I sat down with the sheet of paper and I wrote all that stuff down.
[00:06:08] And even though I didn't necessarily know exactly what industry I wanted to be in,
[00:06:13] I kind of narrowed it down to two or three so that I had a lower scope of jobs that I was looking at.
[00:06:19] This helps me focus in on these jobs and actually made it really helpful so that I could find opportunities that fit this criteria
[00:06:28] instead of just searching out for anything.
[00:06:31] So to answer the question, after I had kind of narrowed down the criteria,
[00:06:36] I picked a couple of jobs within that criteria that hit my salary range and their remote.
[00:06:43] They kind of met all the needs that I was looking for.
[00:06:47] And then I did a lot of research on those companies.
[00:06:51] I looked up interviews with the CEO.
[00:06:54] I read articles about them.
[00:06:56] I tried to understand the lingo and the words being used at these companies.
[00:07:01] And in my particular job, I ended up in supply chain.
[00:07:04] I had no experience in supply chain.
[00:07:06] I had no idea what even supply chain was.
[00:07:09] So I decided to go the extra mile, get a couple of textbooks that were based on supply chain and learn the words,
[00:07:17] learn the language so that when I did have an opportunity, I knew how to speak to that language.
[00:07:22] So that's definitely how I would start.
[00:07:25] Yeah, I love that story because it's not about what you know.
[00:07:29] It's about who you know when you're trying to land a job, which is really tricky.
[00:07:33] It's unfair if you guys agree where I feel like I don't know anyone.
[00:07:37] My network's not that big. Who the heck am I saying?
[00:07:39] It's tough, right?
[00:07:40] It's really hard when you don't know anyone and it's like how am I supposed to actually get a job then.
[00:07:46] And that's really what Asa and I have been talking about.
[00:07:49] Maybe some of you guys have gotten our emails recently.
[00:07:52] Maybe some of you guys have seen that we actually just launched a new little mini course.
[00:07:56] If you haven't checked it out yet, it's called job hunt shortcut.
[00:08:00] And you can actually check it out at jobhuntshortcut.com.
[00:08:03] It's basically a mini course on how you can secure your dream job faster.
[00:08:08] It's basically this whole process that we're talking about where instead of like going out and randomly calling like Asa was doing and getting no results,
[00:08:16] you'll actually get more results doing less work by sending these cold messages to people in your network.
[00:08:23] Now when I say people in your network once again, all of you guys just said,
[00:08:26] I don't really know anyone in my network.
[00:08:28] But here's the cool thing is LinkedIn literally, I think I pulled this stat up the other day, has like a billion users.
[00:08:36] And so there's a billion opportunities for you to potentially reach out to someone and get an opportunity.
[00:08:42] And you might be thinking, oh well like I don't know who to reach out to or like why would someone if they reached out to me, why would I help them?
[00:08:50] But let me ask you in the chat and if you're listening via the recording, think about this to yourself.
[00:08:54] If you're in the chat and if you do this, give me a thumbs up.
[00:08:57] Okay. If someone came to you and said hey, I'm interested in this job.
[00:09:01] Can I have five minutes of your time?
[00:09:03] Can I ask you this question? Could you possibly tell me like any tips you have for interviewing?
[00:09:08] If someone came to you and asked you for a tip about like a job that you're in currently or a job that you've been in previously,
[00:09:14] would you guys spend five minutes helping them?
[00:09:17] Like if you guys can help them, you would right?
[00:09:19] And so sometimes we're so afraid to reach out to people because we're like, oh why would they want to help me?
[00:09:24] But really in reality, like we're all humans. We're all in this journey together.
[00:09:29] We all want to help one another.
[00:09:31] And so if you reach out and you send the message that's not really annoying, right?
[00:09:36] Like you're not just like asking for $10 million.
[00:09:38] You actually might be surprised at how many people respond.
[00:09:42] Now it's not going to be 100% of people that respond but it's going to be a good junk.
[00:09:46] So what can people do to send like a good cold message?
[00:09:49] That's a great question.
[00:09:50] So actually before I even jump into that, this is the strategy of sending a message
[00:09:55] and building that network is exactly how I landed my job.
[00:09:58] So after I did the research and narrowed it down,
[00:10:01] the next step was just reaching out to people that already worked there.
[00:10:04] And essentially like Avery said,
[00:10:07] think about if someone were to send you a message,
[00:10:10] would you want to reply to it?
[00:10:12] What would make you interested enough to reply?
[00:10:15] If you say something like, hi, please look at my resume
[00:10:19] and give me an interview and I really want a job here.
[00:10:23] You're likely not going to get a response.
[00:10:25] It's kind of needy, it's vague,
[00:10:28] but a really good message is to show your interest,
[00:10:32] show that you've done some research.
[00:10:34] Maybe this person wrote an article online and they are really proud of their work
[00:10:39] and they have it featured on the resume.
[00:10:41] Well, you can say hey, I went ahead and did some research.
[00:10:44] I looked at your resume.
[00:10:46] I saw this article you wrote.
[00:10:48] I'd love to hear more about it.
[00:10:50] And if you ask a question like that,
[00:10:52] something that's very specific to them,
[00:10:55] something that's very personal to them,
[00:10:57] something that they're proud of,
[00:10:58] they're going to be very likely to want to talk about it.
[00:11:01] And then from there, it can come up and hey, how's your job?
[00:11:04] What does the day to day look like?
[00:11:06] You take a natural progression when you're trying to have conversations
[00:11:10] because if you just jump straight to a huge ask,
[00:11:14] like review my resume or give me an interview,
[00:11:17] you're almost never going to get it.
[00:11:19] Start with something that you can relate to them on
[00:11:21] and then continue the conversation,
[00:11:23] sharing your goals, sharing your skills at what you're working on
[00:11:27] and then see if something can develop from there.
[00:11:29] Yeah.
[00:11:30] And that really goes to St. James Mike some for some reason won't work,
[00:11:33] but he went ahead and said me a message.
[00:11:35] I think what you're talking to really kind of addresses
[00:11:39] what he's talking about.
[00:11:40] So he says, I just wanted to ask,
[00:11:42] how do I know when to stop called messaging?
[00:11:44] I have been reaching out to hiring managers,
[00:11:46] folks on the jobs that I want.
[00:11:48] But after a few messages, I just get ghosted.
[00:11:51] How should I navigate that?
[00:11:53] And Aisa you can jump in here if you'd like.
[00:11:55] But for me, I think there's sometimes a limit to...
[00:11:59] Maybe not even a limit to generosity,
[00:12:01] but just an attention span.
[00:12:03] We as humans are so busy.
[00:12:05] So it's hard to keep a prolonged messaging back and forth
[00:12:10] really happening.
[00:12:11] And so you kind of have to capitalize when you're sending that message
[00:12:16] to have some sort of what I call a CTA or call to action.
[00:12:20] And you really want to make that call to action?
[00:12:23] It's hard because you don't want to be like,
[00:12:25] give me a job in the first message, right?
[00:12:27] That's a call to action.
[00:12:29] But you also don't want to be like not even asking for a favor
[00:12:33] until you've sent 55 messages.
[00:12:35] So there's a balance between not coming off really strong
[00:12:39] at the beginning,
[00:12:40] but also not coming strong at all
[00:12:43] when you're like four or five messages in.
[00:12:45] You have to eventually kind of get to a point.
[00:12:47] Do you agree with Aisa?
[00:12:48] Yep, I absolutely agree.
[00:12:49] I think the main thing...
[00:12:52] And especially if you sent multiple messages
[00:12:54] and they haven't replied at all,
[00:12:56] it might just be a sign that you got to go knock on the next door.
[00:12:59] You got to go try somebody else.
[00:13:00] Another tip that I really like to apply
[00:13:02] before I even try sending a message
[00:13:04] is see if I can engage with their posts a little bit.
[00:13:07] Maybe they've been posting about something
[00:13:09] and I can like it, I can comment it.
[00:13:12] If you ever notice,
[00:13:13] if you've ever posted anything on LinkedIn
[00:13:15] and there are people that frequently like or comment on your stuff,
[00:13:18] it's pretty easy to see who's consistently showing up.
[00:13:22] So if you're doing that for a recruiter
[00:13:24] or maybe an employee that works there,
[00:13:26] they're posting frequently and you're showing up,
[00:13:28] it's going to be a lot easier to get your foot in the door.
[00:13:31] But like I said,
[00:13:32] if you sent 10 messages,
[00:13:34] they've never replied,
[00:13:36] it's probably time to move on to the next person.
[00:13:38] Yeah.
[00:13:39] Actually, I'm going to tell a quick story
[00:13:41] about a pretty cool experience that one of our students had
[00:13:45] using this method.
[00:13:46] What we're talking about is this method
[00:13:48] at the Aston I've been working on
[00:13:49] that really helps you land a job faster,
[00:13:52] which is more human-centric versus ATS-centric.
[00:13:55] The ATS sucks.
[00:13:56] The automatic tracking system
[00:13:58] is not a fun thing to have to get through.
[00:14:00] And I don't know about you guys,
[00:14:02] but like no matter what I do in my resume,
[00:14:04] it always feels like the ATS hates it.
[00:14:06] And so this method
[00:14:07] that we're talking about where you're actually using humans,
[00:14:10] you can kind of get around the ATS
[00:14:12] a lot more easily than if you do these cold applications.
[00:14:16] So we actually have been teaching this to one of our students
[00:14:19] who is a stay-at-home mom.
[00:14:21] She's been a stay-at-home mom for 20 years.
[00:14:23] Any stay-at-home moms in listening right now,
[00:14:26] this stay-at-home mom hadn't been working for 20 years.
[00:14:29] And before that,
[00:14:30] this stay-at-home mom was a teacher.
[00:14:32] If you're a teacher,
[00:14:34] and you've been on a 20-year career break
[00:14:36] because you've been raising kids,
[00:14:37] it's hard entering the workplace,
[00:14:39] especially in this case our student wanted to switch fields.
[00:14:42] She wanted to become a data analyst.
[00:14:44] And so it's like,
[00:14:45] man, I don't have work experience
[00:14:47] the last 20 years necessarily,
[00:14:48] like traditional work experience.
[00:14:49] And I was a teacher before.
[00:14:51] How do I become a data analyst?
[00:14:52] And typically when you're in the job hunt,
[00:14:54] you know, you can send hundreds of applications
[00:14:57] and maybe get a few interviews.
[00:14:59] I think the average application
[00:15:01] to interview rate is about 3%,
[00:15:03] which means you'll get about three interviews
[00:15:05] for every 100 applications that you send.
[00:15:07] That's like the industry standard.
[00:15:09] This student was able to have a hundred percent rate,
[00:15:12] which is absolutely crazy.
[00:15:14] Meaning she only applied for one job.
[00:15:16] She got an interview at that opportunity
[00:15:19] and then she landed that job.
[00:15:21] So instead of applying the hundreds of jobs,
[00:15:23] she applied to one job,
[00:15:24] got one interview,
[00:15:25] and then got the offer,
[00:15:27] which is crazy.
[00:15:28] Now, you guys might be thinking,
[00:15:30] how the heck did she do that?
[00:15:32] Right? Like how in the world did she do that?
[00:15:34] And the honest answer is there's a lot of luck involved.
[00:15:36] Like I'm not going to lie,
[00:15:37] there's a lot of luck involved.
[00:15:38] And that's this won't work for anything.
[00:15:40] But also sometimes you create your own luck.
[00:15:42] So in this particular case,
[00:15:44] this student found the job of her dream.
[00:15:47] She was really excited about this.
[00:15:48] It was like an educational slash data role
[00:15:51] so she was a good fit for it
[00:15:52] because she did have that educational experience.
[00:15:54] And then she followed the method that we taught her.
[00:15:57] And she sent to DM.
[00:15:59] She sent a cold message to someone
[00:16:01] and you guys ready to hear what the cold message response was?
[00:16:04] Crickets. Nothing.
[00:16:06] What would you guys do in this situation?
[00:16:07] Think about it here for a second.
[00:16:08] You send the DM,
[00:16:09] you don't hear anything,
[00:16:10] what would you do?
[00:16:11] Probably just move on to the next job, right?
[00:16:14] But not this person.
[00:16:15] This person sent another message
[00:16:16] and then another message
[00:16:17] until she had sent six messages
[00:16:19] to six different people.
[00:16:21] From there, one person replied
[00:16:23] and said, hey, sorry,
[00:16:24] I'm in Canada.
[00:16:25] I can't really help with anyone in the US.
[00:16:27] It's almost like a separate company.
[00:16:28] And the sixth person,
[00:16:29] the last person was like, oh, yeah,
[00:16:32] I might be able to help you.
[00:16:34] And that person actually became an insider
[00:16:36] where that person was like
[00:16:38] talking to the hiring manager,
[00:16:39] trying to figure out what they're looking for,
[00:16:41] trying to help this person with their resume,
[00:16:43] like really became a friend to our student
[00:16:46] and eventually really played a pivotal role
[00:16:48] in helping them land a job.
[00:16:50] And so that really just goes to show
[00:16:51] how powerful this method can be
[00:16:53] when you're in the job search.
[00:16:55] Like from going from 20 years,
[00:16:57] stay at home mom to switching industries
[00:16:59] with one application.
[00:17:01] Pretty crazy.
[00:17:02] Yeah, I love that story.
[00:17:03] I think it's awesome.
[00:17:04] And it definitely reminds me of my own journey
[00:17:06] because I was going into the field
[00:17:08] with no experience.
[00:17:09] I had a degree but not in data.
[00:17:11] I was studying science and school
[00:17:14] and so wanted to pivot,
[00:17:16] had no experience,
[00:17:17] had no projects,
[00:17:18] had no background.
[00:17:20] And when I decided to change my method
[00:17:23] and start messaging people,
[00:17:25] having conversations,
[00:17:27] it was kind of a similar situation.
[00:17:29] I reached out to about 10 people,
[00:17:31] not all of them applauded me but four or five of them did.
[00:17:34] One of those people happened to be
[00:17:36] a manager of the role that I wanted to work for
[00:17:39] and I left a good impression.
[00:17:42] We got on a call.
[00:17:43] We had a good conversation.
[00:17:45] And by the time I even went to go apply
[00:17:47] and I reached out to the HR person
[00:17:49] to let him know,
[00:17:50] hey, I've been talking to some people.
[00:17:51] I'm really interested.
[00:17:52] I just applied for this job.
[00:17:54] You know what she said to me?
[00:17:55] She said,
[00:17:56] you know what?
[00:17:57] We've already been hearing your name inside the company
[00:17:59] and I'm so excited to interview you.
[00:18:01] That just shows I was already doing the work.
[00:18:03] I was already laying the foundation.
[00:18:05] So by the time I even got the interview,
[00:18:07] 70% of the job was done.
[00:18:09] I just had to not bomb it.
[00:18:11] And sure enough,
[00:18:12] I got the job and I started working
[00:18:14] under that manager that I spoke to on the phone.
[00:18:16] So that right there proves the power
[00:18:18] of this method that we're teaching.
[00:18:21] So basically to kind of summarize what we're saying
[00:18:24] is if you've been sending hundreds
[00:18:26] of job applications,
[00:18:27] kind of just blindly like closing your eyes,
[00:18:30] throwing darts at the dark board and hoping for a bull's eye.
[00:18:33] Maybe try this.
[00:18:34] Take a step back.
[00:18:35] Focus on like three to four companies
[00:18:38] or opportunities you're really excited about.
[00:18:41] Find the people on LinkedIn that are the hiring managers,
[00:18:44] the recruiter,
[00:18:45] that already worked there
[00:18:46] and send them a cold message.
[00:18:48] Send them a cold message asking for the clear call to action
[00:18:52] that isn't too difficult,
[00:18:53] that isn't too crazy,
[00:18:55] that isn't give me a million dollars.
[00:18:57] And see what happens.
[00:18:59] Do it again, do it again.
[00:19:00] Try ten times.
[00:19:01] So instead of applying to 100 more jobs this week,
[00:19:04] why don't you try to send 10 cold messages?
[00:19:06] And I think if you guys do that,
[00:19:08] you'll actually see some progress,
[00:19:10] which maybe you haven't been feeling in your job hunt.
[00:19:13] If you guys want like a step-by-step guide
[00:19:17] to doing this whole thing,
[00:19:18] that's what Aeson and I have been working on the last four months.
[00:19:21] We created this short little mini course.
[00:19:23] It's called job hunt shortcut.
[00:19:25] You can check it out at jobhuntshortcut.com.
[00:19:28] It's basically helping you land your dream job faster
[00:19:33] without having to send hundreds of resumes
[00:19:35] that just get sucked up into the LinkedIn black hole.
[00:19:38] We have 29% off,
[00:19:40] which actually ends tomorrow night at midnight.
[00:19:43] So if you guys go check this out,
[00:19:45] a jobhuntshortcut.com,
[00:19:47] you'll be able to enroll for 29% off,
[00:19:50] which we've reprised it fairly affordable.
[00:19:52] We wanted to make it affordable for job seekers
[00:19:54] since we know you guys are really busy.
[00:19:56] So it's usually $99 as of right now.
[00:19:58] But if you guys go check it out,
[00:20:00] you guys can get 29% off
[00:20:01] so you guys can get in for just $70.
[00:20:03] And that's going to give you access to
[00:20:05] this framework that we've been talking about
[00:20:07] and all of these really cool tools
[00:20:08] that we've been developing
[00:20:09] that kind of help you keep track of your job hunts.
[00:20:12] Like we have a bunch of DMs,
[00:20:14] cold message DMs that you can just copy and paste
[00:20:17] like fill in the little blank templates.
[00:20:19] We have a job application tracker that you can use.
[00:20:22] So what other tools do we have in there?
[00:20:24] We have some other pretty good tools.
[00:20:26] Yeah, one of my favorites is the Easy Network System.
[00:20:29] It helps you kind of track the people
[00:20:31] that you're having conversations with.
[00:20:33] What were their interests?
[00:20:34] What did you last talk about if you did talk to them?
[00:20:37] It kind of gives you a space to just track
[00:20:40] and measure your engagement.
[00:20:41] There's even a cool little slider thing that I built
[00:20:44] that as you like and comment
[00:20:46] and message them,
[00:20:47] you can see the progress going up
[00:20:49] showing how much more likely they are
[00:20:51] to receive and open your DM
[00:20:53] and actually reply to you.
[00:20:55] So the cool thing about this course is
[00:20:57] not only is it all of the knowledge
[00:21:00] from the last couple of years
[00:21:02] of both Avery and I teaching and coaching,
[00:21:05] but this is the exact method that I used to live my job.
[00:21:08] We just put all of that information
[00:21:10] straight into this course
[00:21:12] so that you guys could get that
[00:21:13] without having to spend the months
[00:21:15] and exhaustion that I had to spend.
[00:21:18] And the coolest part is it's not just theory.
[00:21:21] It's hands on,
[00:21:22] you're going to do the exercises
[00:21:24] and by doing the exercises
[00:21:25] you're already making your way closer
[00:21:27] to landing your job.
[00:21:28] Yeah, which is awesome.
[00:21:29] That's the whole point.
[00:21:30] It's like how do we go faster in the job?
[00:21:32] So if you guys want to check that out
[00:21:34] it's at jobhuntshortcut.com
[00:21:36] or you can really enjoy making it
[00:21:38] and there's some students getting some serious value out of it.
[00:21:40] Because at the end of the day,
[00:21:42] if you're able to land your job faster,
[00:21:44] that's like,
[00:21:45] that's worth so much at the end of the day.
[00:21:47] I know when I was first trying to land my first job,
[00:21:49] I was like, oh my gosh,
[00:21:50] this is so stressful.
[00:21:51] We encourage you guys to go ahead
[00:21:53] and check out jobhuntshortcut
[00:21:55] and let us know what you think.
[00:21:56] We also have a 30-day money back guarantee
[00:21:58] where you guys can do the whole program
[00:22:00] in the first 30 days test.
[00:22:02] And if you're like, man,
[00:22:03] I didn't learn anything,
[00:22:04] then you'll get your money back
[00:22:05] because we really think that it's really like
[00:22:07] changes the way you think about the job.
[00:22:09] It's almost like your mindset
[00:22:11] about how you search for jobs
[00:22:12] will completely change by the end of the program.
[00:22:14] Yep, absolutely.
[00:22:15] And one more thing I had someone ask me
[00:22:17] when they go on the website,
[00:22:19] they see it still says $99.
[00:22:20] If you click that button,
[00:22:21] it does take you to a checkout page
[00:22:23] where the discount is automatically applied.
[00:22:25] So it cuts it down to about 70 bucks.
[00:22:27] Awesome you guys.
[00:22:28] Thank you guys so much for listening
[00:22:30] and we hope to see you guys inside
[00:22:32] jobhuntshortcut.
[00:22:33] Have a great day everyone.
[00:22:34] Bye-bye.
[00:22:35] See you all later.
